Custom Marine Solar installations

As seen on the YouTube “Stay Cool” channel.

We specialize in custom fitting solar installations to boats in a way that require little or per the owner of Stay Cool and our preference, NO structural modification or drilling holes in your boat.

The goal is to have an installation that can be removed to put the boat back to an “as was” state if needed. In the Stay Cool installation, custom adapters were deigned and fabricated to allow clamping of the solar pergola to the existing railing. Addition of cross bracing minimized movement of the installation underway and allows the installation to take significant weather. All fabrication was done in house to minimize cost, issues between design and fabrication and build time.

We prefer rigid panels for longevity and structural strength which allows proper stress analysis and drop in installation of standard panels.

Installation can be over an existing bimini or made to create a new shaded space aboard.

As in the Stay Cool installation, foldable radar mounting and camera mounts are possible along with other options including but not limited to, bike racks, kayak racks, winch/outboard crane attachments and installs.

Full 3d drawing are used to develop a solar solution tailored to your needs and allow the review of the installation and aesthetics of the final product.

For an offshore is “at dock” functionality, installation of dual 320 watt panels connected to a 2000 watt Bluetti (no affiliation) is recommended. Everything is pretested and guaranteed to work for the long haul.
